Most Interlibrary Loan materials can be renewed. Due dates and renewal eligibility will be on the band attached to the book.

The fastest way to submit a renewal request is through your ILLiad account page.

  1. Log in to your ILLiad account
  2. In the “Main Menu” (left side of the ILLiad screen) under the “View” section click on “Checked Out Items”.
  3. Click the Transaction Number for the item you want to renew. This will open up a new window.
  4. Click “Renew Request” in red above the transaction information and you will be given a new due date.

When submitting a renewal request through ILLiad, the due date will not change immediately. ILL staff will receive the request and submit it to the lending library for approval. If the request has been approved, the ILL staff will be given the new due date. You will receive an email notification with the new due date.

Renewals cannot be made more than 3 day prior to the original due day or if the item is overdue. If you have any questions or issues, please contact the Interlibrary Loan Department.
