Our Statistics @ Levy Library guides features a collection of books, online tutorials and videos on learning to use SAS, SPSS, and R. 

ISMMS Center for Biostatistics

The ISMMS Center for Biostatistics offers a free walk-in consultation service called Stat-Chat for all faculty, fellows, residents, staff, and medical students. Stat-Chat is a walk-in consultation service meant to resolve easy problems and answer quick questions regarding data analysis, study design, model interpretation, etc. It is offered every Monday from 2pm-3pm via Zoom. To request a meeting, fill out the Stat-Chat Request Form.

Access

SPSS and SAS software licenses are distributed and managed by the Academic IT Department. Students, faculty or staff who are interested in obtaining a personal copy of SPSS or SAS, please contact ASCIT for options. Please note that software is not free and will need to be purchased. Please review your options below:

  • SPSS
  • SAS
    • ISMMS Students can submit a SAS request to Academic IT support for a license. A $150 fee is required and can be paid through personal funds or by a department. If SAS is required for a graduate course, please contact ASCIT for available options.
    • ISMMS Faculty/Staff can submit a SAS request to Academic IT support for a license. A $150 fee is required to be paid through their department fund.

 SPSS, SAS and R software is installed on all workstations in the Levy Library Computing Center on Annenberg 11 is available to use by all faculty, staff and students.
