Currently, there is no Library/ Mount Sinai institutional subscription for BioRender due to the associated licensing expense.  Several labs and departments have  group licenses.  Please check with your department about whether they subscribe or would consider purchasing it.

If you are not able to get a subscription, you can let us know of your interest through the "Suggest A Resource for Purchase" form.  We are maintaining a record of interested individuals so that we can explore whether Mount Sinai might consider a group purchase in 2024 or 2025.  We will notify you if there is a decision to subscribe centrally to BioRender.

We do offer scientific illustration support at Mount Sinai.  We have the valuable resource of two full-time medical illustrators who specialize in crafting custom figures for various academic publications at no cost to researchers.  If you are interested in collaborating with them to create a figure for your paper, contact Jill Gregory at jill.gregory@mssm.edu.

In addition, the short guides below give step-by-step instructions on converting an Excel graph into a TIF file for submission to journals.
