UpToDate is a point-of-care clinical decision support system, licensed by the Levy Library that is accessible via Epic or directly from a web browser or the Levy Library website. It can be accessed from campus, remotely, or through the mobile app by creating a user account while connected to the Mount Sinai network.

If you already created the account, access it from If you don't have an account yet, here is how to do it:

  1. Go to (or to and click Register). To be able to do it, you must be connected to a Mount Sinai network or via the Mount Sinai VPN.
  2. Complete the registration process using your Mount Sinai email address. After that, you can use the new log-in information from anywhere. UpToDate is also available via the mobile phone app (iOS | Android) using the same account credentials. 

Your UpToDate account will be active and available for 90 days. You will be required to re-verify your account every 90 days by signing into your UpToDate account while connected to a Mount Sinai network or via Mount Sinai VPN.
