Flyers, posters, and any other promotional materials are not allowed to be posted on any walls, columns, windows, door frames, rooms, tables, or chairs in any library space.
Where can flyers and promotional materials be displayed?
The library has designated media screens, display cases, and sign holders for approved promotional materials.
Do I need approval to post materials?
Yes. All flyers, posters, and promotional materials, whether digital or in print, must be approved by the Levy Library before being posted.
How do I request approval?
Email the item to library@mssm.edu for review. We will respond to all requests within three business days.
- Approved print flyers and posters will be displayed in the library's elevator lobby display case or at the front desk in a sign holder for up to three weeks.
- Digital flyers and posters will be displayed on the Library's mulitmedia screens in the elevator lobby and collaborative zone for up to three weeks.
- All flyers must be provided in the approved size and format. For more information, review our flyer requirements.
- Flyers from Icahn School of Medicine student groups and committees, GME programs, and school and hospital departments are welcome.
- The library does not post flyers promoting commercial products and services, external organizations not affiliated with Mount Sinai, or research studies.
- Any promotional material that has not been reviewed and approved will be removed and discarded.
The library reserves the right to remove signage as needed for department and school communication priorities.
Flyer Size and Format Requirements
Print Flyers
- Size: 8.5 x 11 inches or 11x 8.5 Inches
- Format: PDF, PNG, JPG, or Word document
Digital Flyers / Slides
- Size: 16:9 aspect ratio or 1920 x 1080 pixels
- Format: PDF, PNG, JPG, Word document or PowerPoint slide
Flyers that do not meet the size or format requirements will not be displayed.
