If you are unable to access IP-based resources while onsite (such as AORN's eGuidelines platform), temporarily disabling Zscaler on your computer will solve this issue. To disable Zscaler on a Windows machine,

  1. Open the Windows Start menu.
  2. Type "zscaler" into the search field.
  3. Zscaler app information will appear in the app info panel on the right side of the menu. Select the Open option in that panel.

  4. When the Zscaler client opens, select the TURN OFF option. You will now be able to access IP-based resources.

  5. When you are finished with the resource, open the Zscaler client once again and select the TURN ON option to resume the Zscaler service.
