New Steps for Booking Library Study Spaces

Starting September 8th, 2025, we’re making a few updates to how you book and use library meeting pods, group study rooms, and individual study rooms at Levy Library. These changes are designed to make the process smoother and ensure spaces are available for everyone who needs them.

What’s Changing

  • Sign in with Mount Sinai credentials
Before booking a room, you’ll now be asked to sign in using Single Sign-On (SSO) with your Mount Sinai email address and password.
  • Check in at the start of your booking

When your reservation begins, you’ll need to check in within 15 minutes—otherwise, your booking will be automatically cancelled and the space will become available for others.

How to Check In

You can check in easily in one of three ways:

  • Scan the QR code on the sign outside the room or inside the room within 15 minutes of your reservation start time.
  • Click the link in your confirmation email within 15 minutes of your reservation start time.

Why the Change?

These updates help us make sure that study spaces don’t sit empty when others could use them.

We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to helping you find the space that best fits your needs!

What if I'm running late for my reservation and cannot check in?

Don't worry, we can help you out! Just call, email, or text us to let us know and we can hold the space for you - be sure to contact us either before your reservation time or within 15 minutes of the start time.

We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to helping you find the space that best fits your needs!
